連霍高速公路新疆小草湖至烏魯木齊段改擴建項目為雙向八車道設計，其中杏花村1號和2號隧道單洞總長度3390米，為雙向八車道（單洞四車道）超大斷面公路隧道，隧道開挖斷面面積達142.41平方米，大部分圍巖等級為Ⅳ、V級。
　　The reconstruction and extension project of Xinjiang Xiaocaohu-Urumqi section of Lianyungang-Huoerguosi Expressway is designed with a bidirectional eight-lane. The total length of single tunnel of Xinghuacun No.1 and No.2 is 3390m, which are highway tunnels designed in a bidirectional eight-lane (four-lane for a single hole) with super-large section. The excavation area of the tunnel reaches 142.41m2, and most of the surrounding rocks are grades IV and V.
